Notes:
Joker's Monte was sold to Hobson at C. Miles' November 1963 Sale. Brought $4,000, tied for 2nd high selling horse in the sale.
Hobson's Deer Ledge had a "Reduction" Sale, August 1967. Joker's Monte was Lot # 6, sold for $6,750. Catalog and later story doesn't say who bought him, but we know Webers bought him from Miles in November 1967..so...unless something very strange transpired over the course of only a couple months, good bet Miles bought him back. Pretty slick deal huh....Miles sells him for $4,000...Hobson sells him back for 6750; Hobson makes a few bucks, and you can bet Webers paid a few more pennies than 6750. Whatta deal....everybody makes money...and while I don't know how much he sold for when he went to Australia, its probably a safe bet to conclude Webers made a few more pennies than they paid!!
JOKER'S MONTE *A19 , the only son of JOKER B in Australia, stood at stud in New South Wales in the mid/late 1970's.
